We have opportunities for Transaction Processing Manager, Associate in our Commercial Banking Group.

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage a team of around 15 to 20 people with direct reports providing support for the Operations function. The candidate will have a direct reporting line into the Vice President and will be directly responsible for managing the operations team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components within the team and manage the team to meet the financial goals and objective put forth by the LOB, while partnering globally with all the Stake holders viz. Operations, QA & Technology teams. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining staff and budget requirements.

  • Manage people working within the team / department and strive improve performance standards attained

  • Manage individual and team performance standards to achieve and exceed business expectations

  • Manage resources and capacity across multiple projects simultaneously and ensure optimum utilization of resources with NIL impact to business operations

  • Identifies, manages and mitigates process risks and issues and timely escalation as necessary.

  • Coordinates the tracking and resolution of defects using the defect management process.

  • Provides Weekly Scorecard, Status Reporting and MIS.

  • Leads communication calls with Technology, QA, Business and Operations teams.

  • Overall responsibility for the quality control of the process.

  • Work with operations, product and technology groups to define, document and agree the test approach and strategy.

  • Provide regular status reporting to relevant business areas.

  • Build strong working relationships with technology, product and operations to succeed in delivery.


  • Provide primary contact cover for the department. Investigate and follow reported items through until resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree with 10 years of post-qualification experience with Minimum of 8 years of work experience in a Bank / Financial institution. Should have the experience of managing a team of over 20-30 employees.

  • Experience and Strong working knowledge of various aspects of banking products such as Client Onboarding, KYC, AML, Credit, Loan operations or Investment Banking knowledge is preferable
