We are where our customers are, working with them early in the planning stages of a new project, and offering installation and local support to ensure the best performance every step of the way.TE Connectivity, Energy Division is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Leader to lead the Pricing, Customer Service, Tender Management & Sales Operations EMEA functions. This is a newly created role to drive the commercial EMEA organization to profitable growth. You’ll work as part of our EMEA sales team with a strong link to Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Product Management. In this role you will own the entire commercial back office to enable the sales organization for additional market share wins. This role requires excellent commercial skills direct the sales organization and hold internal functions accountable to achieve outstanding customer experience.
 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Tasks:   
• Support the regional general manager to direct the sales team towards above market growth by leading the weekly/monthly sales growth cadence
• Build and lead the sales operations organization to improve our project win rate and achieve our monthly/quarterly sales forecasts
• Develop systems and processes to enable more customer face time for our sales organization
• Lead the commercial capability upskilling program
• Lead and continue to develop the customer service organization to be our competitive advantage by delivering a superior service to our customers
• Lead the EMEA pricing function to maximize our market profitability
• Implement the new tender management function to drive accelerated market share gains with our major utility OEM’s.

• Pipeline Conversion / Market Share Gain
• On Time Delivery & # of escalations
• Year over Year Price Realization or Margin $ Improvement from price actions and strategies

• Critical and strategic thinker who can manage the details & capable of seeing the wider strategic picture
• Demonstrated ability to drive and influence change within global and cross functional teams
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate with multiple functions and strong ability to build relationships and credibility quickly across functions and levels within the business unit
• Successful track record in leading pricing or financial teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge Required:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics
• 7-10 Years of applicable experience
• Strong communication skills at the Executive level
• Experience in developing and managing life cycle pricing strategies and segmentation strategies
• Able to work with cross-functional team efforts
• Working knowledge of LEAN/Continuous Improvement Tools
• Green Belt Certification is a plus
• Experience with SAP, SFDC, Analytics Tools and Advanced Pricing Software also a plus
