Software Test Engineer Batterie Management Systems (m/f)
  • Development and documentation of software test strategies for components in the field of battery management systems
  • Definition of manual and automatic tests within an agile project team
  • Coordination and creation of test cases (integration test, requirement test)
  • Coordination and execution of manual and automated tests
  • Control, documentation and evaluation of test results
  • Report and present test progress and test results to project leaders and departments
  • Including the test cases in the regression test
  • Ensuring smooth test operation
  • Application of our ASPICE and ISO 26262 compatible processes
  • Close cooperation with other development disciplines
  • Support in the introduction of state-of-the-art techniques and tools
  • Degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, communications engineering, computer science or similar
  • Several years of experience in software testing in embedded systems
  • Experience in conducting and organizing tests in agile project teams
  • Experience with common test development methods (ASPICE, ISO26262)
  • Very good knowledge of communication buses (e.g., Flexray, CAN, SPI, etc.) and experience in dealing with appropriate development tools
  • Good understanding of the interaction between hardware and software (eg functioning of microcontrollers and bus systems)
  • Very good knowledge with DOORS
  • Ideally ISTQB certification
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (VB, Python, Perl) preferable
  • Very good German and English skills written and spoken
  • High level of self-motivation and teamwork as well as a strong sense of responsibility
