Job description:

The Helmholtz Zentrum München in Munich, Germany, is member of one of the leading research associations in Europe - the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers. The aim of our research is to proactively detect health risks involving humans and the environment, decoding the mechanisms of pathogenesis and developing concepts for prevention and therapy.

The aim of our scientific work is to improve anti-cancer treatment, especially in children with cancer. We perform studies on cancer biology and anti-cancer treatment using a patient-derived xenograft mouse model and genetic engineering (more info at www.helmholtz-muenchen.de/ahs/index.html) .

Job Description

Handle regulatory affairs in collaboration with the relevant authorities; write proposals, monitor compliance and do reporting; for animal trials, genetic engineering, occupational safety etc. Organize activities of the Research Unit such as seminars, visits of international guest scientists etc.

Your Qualifications

MD or PhD in Veterinary Medicine, Human Medicine or other Life Science / Natural Science; alternatively at least two years of relevant work experience Experience in management / coordination of mouse work Excellent skills in spoken and written German and English Independent, progressive, open-minded and solution-oriented work approach High level of motivation and strong team player
