Conserving – Exploring – Exploiting

The IPK is one of the world's leading international institutions in the field of plant genetics and crop science. Its research program and services contribute significantly to conserving, exploring and exploiting crop diversity. Its research goals are driven by the need to ensure an efficient and sustainable supply of food, energy and raw materials, thereby addressing a major global ecological challenge.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Barley Functional Genomics (f/m)

The research group Genomics of Genetic Resources (GGR) is seeking a highly motivated postdoc to participate in a 3 year international collaborative project (IPK Gatersleben, University of Dundee, University of Minnesota / St. Paul) on barley functional genomics. Based on quantitative transcriptomics and GWAS in a barley diversity collection, we aim at elucidating regulatory gene networks involved in regulating yield related traits. The work builds on cutting edge genomic resources that were in the focus of the research group GGR for the past 10 years.
