Job Description

The Debugger and Embedded Software Products team is primary located in Munich/Germany. Being part of Intel's Developer Product Division, its responsibility is the development of debuggers and embedded software development products being optimized for the IntelR architectures. These debuggers and products are used to create applications for the next generation of internet of things IOT, mobile phones, tablets, embedded devices, desktop computers and servers in conjunction with multiple platforms and operating systems. We are searching for an SW test and validation engineer with Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. As member of the Systems Integration Team you will be responsible for test system development and test system automation. You strive for high test coverage in order to deliver stable and reliable SW tools to our customers and users. You will be responsible for Intel platform bring up, configuration and preparation for debug and trace tools development. Besides programming skills, you need experience in working with different operating systems like Windows and Linux and its different distributions.


Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computational Science or equivalent
  • Experience in SW validation and testing
  • Software development experiences in C/C++ and/or Java*
  • Experience with Linux* and Windows* OS development environments
  • Experience in using debuggers
  • Experience in using IDE integrated development environment
  • Fluent English language capability in SW scope
  • Good team player and communication skills
  • Self-education and self-development

The following qualifications would be add advantages:

  • Experience in commercial software engineering
  • Experience in open source software engineering
  • Experience in embedded SW specifics
  • Knowledge about processor architecture Intel Architecture preferred
  • Experience with Mac* OS
  • Knowledge of Python*
