IT Consultant / System Administrator (m/f) for Simulation tools
  • Support end users in their daily job (based on incident tickets)
  • Work as specialist on simulation applications usage and administration
  • Become a consultant on and be able to provide trainings for the simulation applications (e.g. Digital Manufacturing)
  • Test and prepare new software releases for internal deployment
  • Monitor application’s activity (performance monitoring, logs, failures)
  • Be a contact point for users and participate in user meetings
  • Collect and analyze user's requests for further processing
  • Define tool enhancements based on the collected requests
  • Implement changes on applications as required by the change management process
  • Administrate application's environment and instances (users rights, database changes and quotes)
  • Lead complex technical projects and/or participate in projects as team member
  • Pro-actively look to learn and develop new skills (e.g. Cloud technologies, Data Analytics, etc.)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering and/or Manufacturing area or comparable studies
  • Fundamentals in leading projects
  • Knowledge in Simulation Tools and their usage
  • Knowledge of manufacturing solutions and tools (e.g. Plant Simulation)
  • Knowledge in tools configuration and scripting
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems (e.g. Win10, Linux, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of IT processes (e.g. Incident Management, Change Management, etc.)
  • Very good MS office skills
  • Business fluent English skills
  • Strong problem analysis/solving skills
  • Initiative and team player
  • Self-motivated and proactive in working as a part of a global team
  • Analytical thinking and well organized person
  • Good communication skills and customer focus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
