    As part of the Leadership Team the HR Business Partner will provide strategic and operational Human Resources support for global CarRentals and will work closely with the General Manager and the Leadership team on making CarRental.com s the best place to work.

    As part of the global HR Team the HR Business Partner will work closely with other divisional HR leads and team members to support the roll out and implementation of meaningful HR programs in support of CarRental´s business needs; and handle optimization of resources and activity to provide high quality support across Expedia Inc.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Support the strategic and operational business needs of the organization by working closely with the Leadership team members as well as other HR team members to ensure successful roll out and implementation of meaningful HR programs
    • Lead optimization of resources and activity to provide high quality support to the business.
    • Diagnose organizational effectiveness and implement solutions.
    • Translate business strategies into appropriate HR actions.
    • Coach business leaders on leading and running their organizations effectively.
    • Handle complex employee relations issues from end-to-end.
    • Provide consultation at all levels of the organization.
    • Partner with COE's to ensure people plans and business strategies are delivered effectively, business improvements are proactively realized, and issues are quickly course-corrected

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
    • 3+ years of HR or relevant experience
    • Excellent intuition for business (including being naturally data driven, a strategic thinker and have a level of operational excellence)
    • Compelling Communication skills and able to form positive relationships
    • Creative thinker with initiative to work independently and solves pragmatically
    • Global operating experience desired
