What you will do:
You will be part of a newly formed team which is responsible for providing programmatic leadership in which you will focused on driving operational efficiency for our services businesses across Europe, Middle East & Africa and Latin America. With over $1.5 Billion in revenues, services encompass all product lines of business with varying levels of participation and success across the region. Major focus lines of business include: HVAC Systems, Low Voltage Systems (Security, Controls, Building Automation, Fire Detection) and Fire Suppression; Industrial Refrigeration and Residential Security. The business also has business lines across a set of niche markets such as Oil & Gas, Marine and Retail.
Under the direction of the EMEALA VP of Service Growth you will work with regional and line of business leadership to develop, implement, and monitor strategies and action plans focusing on gross margin expansion, G&A reduction plans and operational effectiveness of the technician workforce.
How you will do it:
-Work with local operational leadership to drive best in class execution and expansion of gross margin and optimization of G&A structure.
-Standardize tracking of and drives utilization/absorption
-Leverage best practices across the region
-Work with local leadership across the region to implement programs focused on hiring technicians workforce aligned with our overall growth strategy.
Implements training programs across to ensure our technician workforce is enabled to work effectively
-Create and implement “standardized work” methodology to ensure our technician workforce will execute service tasks as efficient as possible
-Implement Customer Satisfaction monitoring program
-Assist in roll out and implementation of enabling service tools such as Service Max (Lite) and Dynamic Dispatch roll out across our subscriber business
-Define/structure/lead aggressive action plans to grow our Service Business exponentially built on our long term Strategic Vision.

-Indirectly lead a team of Service professionals and provides day-to-day direction and coaching to the cross-functional team on priorities, objectives, processes and tasks.
-Focus on communication, people development, customer interaction & measuring results
-Promote the organization at high business levels and develop customer partnerships and alliances.
-Drive teamwork, culture, compliance and integrity. 



What we look for:
University degree, MBA or equivalent academic qualification.


-Minimum 10 years in operational leadership for service businesses 
-Successful track record as an Operational Manager or Service leader is preferable; suitable candidates would be coming from within a blue chip company with technical orientation
-Experiences in converging industries

-Extensive sales, operations and people management exposure.
-Outstanding track record of achieving sustained profitable growth.
-Experience of working in international organisations and within an international setting, preferably having spent time working abroad.
-Experience of working with a US multinational organization (preferred).
-Strong communication and people skills at all levels in a business.
-Ability to combine strategic and tactical imperatives.
-A natural leader who puts time and energy into building senior management talent.
-Fluency in English, plus other languages (preferred).
-Frequent international travel / relocation flexibility.
-Compliance and driving the tone from the top, based on an ethical foundation are crucial for the role.
