part time 50%, 6 months contract 



Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.



Responsibilities: 


  • Create and maintain a short term robust SKU based forecast on storage location, tracking pacing issues/deviations to support product availability & order fulfillment processes, as well as minimize stock aging issues.

  • Provide Product Supply with a mid-long term SKU forecast, incorporating agreed commercial actions.

  • Work effectively with Commercial teams (local or remote) to ensure relevant inputs are incorporated in the forecast figures – lead Consensus process as appropriate.

  • Ensure excellence in the forecast Key Figures – baseline, promo and other events – to support decision making to the categories & to produce a reliable total bottom-up forecast.

  • Create product demand analysis and insights for review & action in Demand Planning and Sign-off meetings as well as Link meetings (as required)

  • Support the cross-functional Integrated Business Planning demand process for the relevant product portolio ensuring visibility of realistic sales forecast with associated relevant risks and opps.

  • Work effectively with the Supply Chain team to ensure forecast changes and assumptions are well understood so that effective long and short-term supply plans can be produced.

  • Leverage APO-DP tool to maximise benefit and trade-off between workload and return, ensuring systems and process best practices are shared across categories to drive service up and cost out. Statistical forecasting is envisaged to be a critical lever to exploit the system.

  • Projects: new project development, promotions, delists or product switches: Close coordination with project teams to ensure adecuate forecast in place (masterdata set-up, forecast discussions)



Qualifications

 

To be successful in this position we need you to have:


  • Degree educated, preferentially Engineering, Maths, Logistics, Economics

  • APICS or other planning certifications preferred

  • Understanding of statistical modelling and other mathematical concepts preferred

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and aptitude

  • Good planning and organising skill, combined with attention to detail

  • Able to gather, manipulate and interpret data; solve problems and establish priorities 

  • A good time manager, able to meet deadlines with quality output

  • Strong verbal / written communication and listening skills

  • An ability to easily move from the detailed to the abstract

  • MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint

  • Ability to relate to and influence a diverse group of cross functional stakeholders

  • Intimate knowledge and experience in operating with SAP APO systems

  • Likely to come from a planning background preferred

  • Background in CS&L or Sales roles

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
