Construction Planner (f/m) Long-term – Hamburg or Husum
Department Construction- Vestas Northern & Central Europe
The Construction Department is in charge of all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed – and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with the logistics, procurement and finance departments, the team has to keep the project on budget and on schedule, and ensures our rigorous safety and quality standards are met. It also works closely with the sales and legal departments to ensure each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield within the client’s specification. 
 
Responsibilities
 
The Construction Planner (f/m) Long-term will support the Portfolio Planning Team within the region NCE in the early planning phase of projects.

  • Identify project pipeline with relevant stakeholders (Sales, Sales Support, Project Management)
  • Prepare long-term resource strategy based on project pipeline , resource demand and capacity plan
  • Identify need to develop new suppliers project/market specific
  • Request information from Road & Site Experts
  • Consolidate project specific information regarding required resources (demanding client, local requirements etc.)
  • Provide resource forecast to sourcing, construction and forecast information to Supply Chain Planning
  • Track planning changes and monitor potential risk
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment on individual Construction projects
  • Review Consolidated Portfolio overview
  • Optimize portfolio of projects based on constraints and opportunities
  • Prepare mitigation plans/reschedule in case of delays, capacity constraints etc.
  • Support Construction towards consolidation and optimization of projects
  • Assist in verifying and analyzes all resources related costs if needed
  • Drive improvement initiatives related planning and forecasting

 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management or apprenticeship Industrial Clerk with several years of experiences in Business, Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Understanding of market consistence
  • Knowledge of Planning Methods
  • Strong ability to work effectively with work groups across the organization.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and interact with employees at all professional levels
  • Ability to build interpersonal and vendor relationships
  • Strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions with respect to project budgets, contracts and overall organization objectives.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Tactical and operational strengths
  • Fluent language skills in English and German
