We are the market leader in our solution segments in the Nordics and Baltics, and have business established with key account customers in Germany, where we also cooperate with business partners in delivering and supporting our solutions to customers, as well as in providing complementary value-added services.
 
Job Summary:
We are currently looking for an Area Manager for Trimble Energy to strengthen our local organization and to enable us to grow our business even further in Germany. You will be a part of the organization that focuses on developing and managing our business within distribution utilities in Germany. As an Area Manager, you have operative responsibility for marketing, sales and partner management at Trimble Energy in Germany. 
 
This can be a remote role with ideal location in Frankfurt – Berlin area or at our office at Trimble GmbH in Eschborn, Germany.

Your key responsibilities:
 
  • Performing business planning and business activities in cooperation with the Trimble Energy HQ in Finland
  • Creation and implementation of annual business plan to deliver annual sales targets within your segment
  • Development of business opportunities at existing key customers and with new prospects
  • Establishing and managing partnerships in cooperation with HQ
  • Coordinating cooperation and development activities with other organizational functions (e.g. Product Management & Development, Marketing)
  • Engagement with relevant industry organizations, partners and other influencers
  • Planning and implementation of seminars and events to support development of your market area.

We appreciate:
 
  • Proven track record of consultative B2B sales
  • Experience and knowledge of software and utility industry
  • Ability to understand partner and customer needs and deliver results to meet their expectations
  • Ability to conceptualize large-scale software and service solutions
  • Experience in managing of partner channel and channel sales development
  • Strong communication, networking and presentation skills to gain trust among senior management teams
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
